The Sironia building on Austin Avenue has had many different residents since the building was constructed over 50 years ago. The newest resident Sironia – which is named after the buildings most well-known former occupant- which goes back to the buildings roots.
Sironia has 41 individual stores housed under its 12,000 square foot roof.
Owners Holly Harris & Martha Heard opened up Sironia not only because it has been a dream of theirs, but to bring back something that means so much to Waco.
The individual store owners have added their own touches to the stores and each store carries a wide range of items. Each space has its own feel and walking from room to room makes a shopper feel like they are going from one warm cozy home to another.
Within the 2 floors of shopping you will find gourmet foods, fine jewelry, clothing, home furnishings, baby items, paintings, photographs, lotions, Tyler Candles and many other items you can live without.
In addition, the Sironia experience isn’t complete without grabbing lunch at Amelia’s, which is set right in the middle of the store.
Sironia is everything Holly and Martha ever dreamed of and it wouldn’t have been able to happen without one another. We started Sironia without help from anyone, and we have developed it into something of our own. Sironia has been a blessing to the both of us. Our main objective is to make guests feel very welcomed when they walk in the door. We want shopping here to be a pleasant and personal experience. Sironia is a fabulous place to lunch with friends, shop and spend the afternoon.
